Eddy Kenzo speaks after losing out on first Grammy win

Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo was nominated for 2023 Grammy awards under the Best global music performance category for his song with American singer Matt B 'Gimme Love.'

The singer lost the Grammy to South Africa's Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo Zikode for their song ‘Bayethe.’

In his message, Kenzo thanked his fans for the support.

"And the baby went to South African, thank you for the support my people, I'm forever grateful. Viica Uganda. This is just the beginning. Mbagala nyo (I love you all)."
